About Us

The Forest Resource Management Program at Lincoln University conducts research and evaluates agroforestry and forest management practices in Missouri and the broader midwestern forested landscapes. Our objective is to provide information on how best to manage landscapes for income generation in small farm settings.

What we do

We engage in an array of interdisciplinary research focused on agroforestry practices for sustainable forest management and small farm production systems. We explore the interaction of environmental, economic, and social factors within a production system and how to optimize them to produce important benefits with minimal negative externalities.
