We are going on a mission for scientific discovery, natural exploration, and inspiration for a new generation of scientists. This immersive summer camp will build leadership and problem-solving skills through experiential learning and inquiry. 

Earth and Space

DDR-ARTEMIS
Digital Agriculture, Data Science, and Robotics: Applied Research and Training for Enhancing Motivation in Science

NASA MUREP PSI (Minority University Research and Education Project: Pre-college Summer Institute) seeks to raise interest in STEM education among minority, underserved, and underprivileged students. This immersive camp experience will expose students to digital agriculture technology, data science, robotics, and machine learning with expertise from the University of Missouri faculty members.

No cost to attend - Campers selected based on application

Digital Agriculture

Students will have the opportunity to fly drones, collect and analyze data, operate a autonomous tractor, and interpret sensors for monitoring soil and crop productivity.

Data Science

Students will be exposed to cutting-edge data science and predictive modeling tools, including hands-on experiences working with data.

Robotics

Through hands-on experience in building, coding, and testing VEX robots, students will have the opportunity to use their imagination while practicing teamwork and collaboration.

Session 1: June 24th - July 2nd, 2023

Session 2: July 8th - July 16th, 2023

Lincoln University, Jefferson City, MO

Camper Eligibility

  • Rising high school sophomore or junior

  • Interest in STEM fields

  • Able to commit to entire camp session

  • Application must be received by May 25, 2023
