DDR-ARTEMIS
Digital Agriculture, Data Science, and Robotics: Applied Research and Training for Enhancing Motivation in Science
NASA MUREP PSI (Minority University Research and Education Project: Pre-college Summer Institute) seeks to raise interest in STEM education among minority, underserved, and underprivileged students. This immersive nine-day camp experience will expose students to digital agriculture technology, data science, robotics, and machine learning with expertise from the University of Missouri faculty members.
No cost to attend - Campers selected based on application
Digital Agriculture
Students will have the opportunity to fly drones, collect and analyze data, operate a autonomous tractor, and interpret sensors for monitoring soil and crop productivity.
Data Science
Students will be exposed to cutting-edge data science and predictive modeling tools, including hands-on experiences working with data.
Robotics
Through hands-on experience in building, coding, and testing VEX robots, students will have the opportunity to use their imagination while practicing teamwork and collaboration.
